I have compiled a list of links that are handy for other designers, those whom I do business for, and for myself.

 

 

Resources/Tools:

  • SWF Opener - Ever get a flash file and can't seem to open it. You can open it with Internet Explorer but for some reason its scaled to fit the window and looks distorted. Well with this program you can open up the flash file in its native resoultion.
  • Unlocker - Ever had such an annoying message given by Windows: Cannot delete file: Access is denied. There has been a sharing violation. Unlocker is an Explorer extension that allows you with a simple right-click of the mouse on a file or folder to get rid of error message such as error deleting file or folder, cannot delete folder: it is used by another person or program.
  • Image Popup - FancyBox is tool for displaying images, html content and multi-media in a Mac-style "lightbox" that floats overtop of web page.
  • Dreamstime - At Dreamstime.com, you can find a large variety of Royalty-Free stock images.
  • VLC Media Player - VLC media player is a highly portable multimedia player and multimedia framework capable of reading most audio and video formats (MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, DivX, MPEG-1, mp3, ogg, aac ...) as well as DVDs, Audio CDs VCDs, and various streaming protocols.
